Sourceteller is an AI customer support chatbot trained on your website and your files. It answers your customers on your site, over the phone and on Telegram — in their language, with a link to the exact passage behind every answer. When a question is unclear it asks; when the answer isn’t there, it says so.
No card · No subscription · Works on Shopify and any website
Animated example: the same knowledge base answering a website visitor in English with a cited passage, a phone caller in Bangla, and a Telegram user in Spanish after asking which kind of shipping they meant.
- Cites every answerSource link + the exact passage
- Asks when it’s unclearNever guesses which one you meant
- Says when it doesn’t knowNo invented policies or prices
- 72 languages36 spoken · incl. বাংলা & Banglish
- Reads your whole siteJS pages, brochures, every contact
- Private by workspaceSeparated per business, never trained on
Like your best support agent — it shows its work.
Most chatbots produce a fluent guess every time. Sourceteller reads the question properly, searches your material two ways, and then does one of four things. Guessing is not one of them.
How long do refunds take after I send something back?
- Read the question
- Searched two ways
- 2 passages found
- Answered, cited
Refunds go back to your original payment method within 5–7 working days of the return reaching our warehouse.1 Items bought on sale are refunded as store credit instead.2
Tap a number and the source page opens at that passage.
Finds the term and the meaning
Two searches run together — one for what the question means, one for the exact words. SKUs, model numbers and policy codes stop getting lost.
Follows the conversation
“And the blue one?” is resolved against what was said before, so customers never have to repeat themselves.
Screened before it answers
Abusive messages and hidden instructions are blocked, and topics you list are politely declined even when your documents mention them.
Private to your business
Your material is separated from every other business, answers only your customers, and is never used to train a model.
Your website and your files. It reads all of it.
No clean-up, no converting to text first. Give it the address of your website and the files your business already keeps — it reads the parts other tools miss, and keeps reading as they change.
Each file goes to the reader it needs
- returns-policy.pdfText PDF · 6 pagesFast PDF reader
- signed-agreement.pdfScanned pages · 12Premium parser + OCR
- price-list.xlsx3 sheets · 1,240 rowsSpreadsheet reader
- catalogue-2026.pptxImage-heavy slidesPremium layout parser
- staff-handbook.docxText document · 48 pagesDocument reader
Complex files — scans, image-heavy decks, dense tables — go to a premium layout parser automatically. Everything else is read by a fast local reader.
Tables stay tables
A price list cut in half mid-row answers nothing. Tables are kept whole with the sentence that introduces them, and get a short summary so a question in plain words still finds the right row.
Split where your document splits
Cut along its own headings, not every N characters — so a clause is never sliced in half, and a lone paragraph still knows it sits under “Section 4 — Termination”.
Scans, read page by page
Signed contracts and photographed invoices go through OCR — only the pages that need it, so a mixed file is not slowed to the speed of its worst page.
Only what changed
The same file uploaded twice is one copy — not read or charged again. Re-check your website and only new or changed pages are read; the rest stay exactly as they were.
Ask in whatever language you think in.
Your documents are in one language; your customers are not. Every question is answered in the customer’s own language — and the citation still points at your original passage, so anyone on your team can check it.
Can I return something I bought on sale?
Yes — within 14 days, unworn and with tags. Sale items are refunded as store credit.1
Sale items returned unworn within 14 days, with tags attached, are refunded as store credit.

Banglish
For customers who mix Bangla and English, or write Bangla in English letters. It reads them properly and replies the same way.

No fixed language. Every reply comes back in whatever language that question was asked in — useful when your customers come from everywhere.

- Link in bio — Facebook, Instagram, TikTok
- Website field of a WhatsApp Business profile
- Printed on the counter, a table card or a delivery box
- Email signature, invoice or Google Business Profile
- Locked to your domains. A copied snippet will not load on a site you have not allowed, so nobody else spends your credits.
- Voice in the browser. Visitors can tap the mic and talk instead of typing.
- Speaks the visitor’s language. Greeting and answers follow the language they write in.
- Loads after your page. Fetched asynchronously, so your page speed does not move.
Give it a number.

Not a menu tree. Point the number you already have at your assistant, and callers ask in their own language and hear the same cited answer your website gives — spoken back in seconds. The widget’s mic button works the same way, right in the browser.
Example calls in English, Spanish, French, Hindi and Bangla, each answered in the caller’s language with a cited source.
Keep your number. Keep your provider.
Give your assistant its own SIP address, then point any phone number you already own at it. Nothing to port, nothing to change for your customers.

Background noise removed
Traffic, a ceiling fan, a busy shop floor — the caller is separated from the room before anything tries to transcribe it.
No echo of itself
On speakerphone the agent hears its own voice coming back. That loop is cancelled, so it never answers itself.
Knows when you’ve finished
It waits for a finished thought, not a gap in sound — pausing to think does not get you cut off.
Interruptible mid-sentence
Cut in while it is talking and it stops at once, drops what it was saying and listens.
Quiet while it looks
Searching takes a beat. It holds the line calmly instead of filling the gap, then answers once.
Offers a person
When a caller asks for a human, or keeps getting stuck, it gives them your own contact message.
It lives where your customers already are.
Your knowledge stays in one place. Every channel answers from it with the same citations — switch one on and the others stay exactly as they are.
Put the assistant on your Shopify store today. It reads your product pages, shipping and returns policies and FAQ, and answers your shoppers with the page it found the answer on.

How it answers
Language, honesty and sources — your call.
Hand over to a person
When someone asks for a human, or gets stuck a few times in a row — on chat, the widget, Telegram and calls.
For this one it’s best to speak to us directly. Please call +880 1XXX-XXXXXX, Sunday to Thursday, 9am to 6pm.
Spend only what you plan
A runaway script or an abusive visitor cannot spend a month of credits in an afternoon.

One plan. Every feature. Pay for what you use.
No tiers to compare and nothing locked behind a bigger number. Voice, the website widget, Telegram, your share link and every supported language are on from day one. You buy credits and spend them however your business actually works.

Buy creditsWhat a credit is
An answered question costs 7 credits — however long the answer, on any written channel. A minute of a voice call costs 68 (74 on a phone line), and that covers everything said in it.
Uploading your files costs nothing, and most websites are read for free. Credits are spent on documents only when a page needs premium reading — complex layouts, scans and image-heavy pages — at 7.5 credits a page, or when a JavaScript-heavy site needs a paid renderer to read it. Re-checking pages or files that have not changed is free.
Your rate never moves with our costs, and your dashboard shows what every answer spent, down to the question.
| A question answered from your documents | 7 credits |
| A quick hello or thank-you | on the house |
| A question it has already answered, asked again | on the house |
| One minute of a voice call, answers included | 68 credits |
| One minute of a phone call, answers included | 74 credits |
| Uploading and reading your files | on the house |
| Reading your website | usually free |
| Re-checking anything that has not changed | on the house |
| Premium reading of a complex, scanned or image-heavy page | 7.5 credits / page |
Why we do not do tiers
Most tools in this category make you guess your volume a year ahead, then charge you for guessing wrong. Pick the small plan and you hit a wall in week three; pick the big one and you pay for headroom you never touch.
We priced it the way we would want to buy it: one rate, every feature, credits that do not expire. A quiet month costs nothing.
- Credits never expireA slow season costs you nothing.
- No subscriptionBuy once, spend it over six months if that is your pace.
- Every feature, every accountVoice, widget, Telegram, share link, every language — no upsell.
- See what each answer costDown to the question, in your dashboard.
- Daily caps if you want themLimit credits and voice minutes per day, and get a low-balance warning.
- Every answer cites its sourceOr it says it does not know. No invented facts.
Questions about pricing, or buying for several businesses? support@sourceteller.com
Reasonable questions.
The questions we get on every first call, answered here so you do not have to book one.
What stops it inventing a policy that does not exist?
It only writes from passages it actually found in your material, and every claim is marked back to one. When nothing you have given it covers the question, it says so instead of filling the gap — and gives the customer your own message for reaching a person.
What if a customer asks something vague, misspelled or half in Banglish?
Before it searches, the question is turned into a proper one: typos are read through, follow-ups like “and the blue one?” are resolved against the conversation, and Banglish is understood as Bangla. If two products or policies still match, it asks which one the customer means instead of quietly picking one.
Does it really answer in our customers’ language?
Yes — directly in that language, not English run through a translator. A question in Bangla, Spanish or Hindi against English documents comes back in that language, with the English passage still cited so your team can check it. Every written channel takes the full list; phone calls take a shorter one, because a call needs a model that can hear the language as well as speak it.
Can we stop it talking about certain things?
Yes. List the topics it must always decline — owner details, competitor prices, medical advice, anything — and it politely refuses them even when your documents mention them. Abusive messages can be blocked, and instructions hidden inside a message are always blocked.
Our documents are confidential. Where do they go?
Each business’s material is kept separate from every other’s. It is stored and searched only under your workspace, never mixed into another business’s answers, and never used to train any model. The website widget only loads on the domains you allow.
Can we remove a document later?
Yes. Delete it from your documents and it is taken out of search first, then off your list — so the assistant stops quoting it straight away.
Half our files are scans of signed paperwork.
Scanned pages go through OCR, page by page, and only the pages that need it — so a mixed file is not slowed to the speed of its worst page. Complex files such as scans, image-heavy decks and dense tables are sent to a premium layout parser automatically.
How long until it is live on our site?
Uploading takes minutes, and reading a typical website takes a few more. The widget is one line of code, so a workspace can be answering real questions the same afternoon.
We sell on Shopify. Does it work there?
Yes, today. Paste your snippet into your theme — the console walks you through it — and it reads your product pages, policies and FAQ. A Shopify App Store app with one-click install and order lookups is on the way.
We do not have a website. Can we still use it?
Yes. Every workspace gets its own chat page with a share link and a printable QR code — for a bio link on Facebook, Instagram or TikTok, the website field of a WhatsApp Business profile, a counter card or a delivery box.
Can it answer our phone line?
Yes. Your assistant gets its own SIP address; point a number you already own at it, with any provider. Callers ask out loud and hear the cited answer in their language. You set the greeting, the default call language and when it hangs up.
What are credits, exactly?
One balance for everything. An answered question costs 7 credits on any written channel; a minute of a voice call costs 68 (74 on a phone line) and covers everything said in it. Uploading your files is free; a page that needs premium reading costs 7.5 credits. Your dashboard shows what every answer spent.
What happens when we run out?
Answering pauses until you top up. Nothing is deleted — documents, settings and history stay exactly as they were, and everything resumes the moment credits land. Visitors see a neutral “temporarily unavailable” message, never anything about billing.
Do credits expire?
No. There is no monthly minimum and no subscription. Buy once and spend it over six months if that is your pace — a quiet season costs nothing.
Can we cap what it spends?
Yes. Set a daily limit on credits and on voice minutes, and choose when you are warned that your balance is running low. A runaway script or an abusive visitor cannot spend a month of credits in an afternoon.
Give it your website.
Ask it one question.
That is the whole evaluation. If the answer comes back in your customer’s language with the right passage attached, you already know whether this works for you.
